First Draft - Magazine

This is the first Magazine front cover that I created with Sophie, as you can see it is very plain and a little bit boring. I feel like it really needs more headlines to stand out and the colours need to add contrast.
I also feel that this photo of Cerys would look much better as a Poster and not a Magazine.

Magazine Front Cover Analysis

We have created or final Magazine front cover and I really love it. I think that it looks a lot more catchy and its clearly taken a lot of more editing and time than the first draft.

Reasoning behind headlines:

• Emma Watson - The reason i chose this actress to comment on Cerys' role is as being a main character in Harry Potter, she has worked with dark films before. She also has a lot of hype around her at the moment with Beauty and the Beat Coming out. 

• Johnny Depp - He often plays really strange dark roles and he is loved by many people, being a A list star it would draw attention to a wide audience. The purple makes this stand out without clashing with the rest of the front cover.

Magazine Name Questionnaire

Over all we got 6 votes for the name to be 'Reel Talks', this means that it was the most popular choice. We asked people ages 15-18 in our sixth form, both boys and girls, mainly girls to stick with out target audience. As this is the most preferred we will use this name.
